Why the LNT model is senseless

 

The LNT model assumption

  • extrapolate radiation cancer risk from high doses (e.g. 1 Sv) all the way down to low doses (e.g. 1 mSv).

 

A few analogies:

In spite of it being senseless, it has been recommended by international and national advisory bodies since the 1950s.
